Our Company

Snyder Environmental and Construction, Inc.’s experience and expertise in asbestos project design and cost estimation allow us to provide our clients with cost effective, quality work that is performed within budget and on-schedule.

Out staff has over 64-years combined experience and includes a licensed attorney. Snyder also employs two licensed, professional engineers and several additional, invaluable team members.

In addition, Snyder has a disaster recovery plan in place to protect you, the client. In addition to paper files, we have all specifications and documentation related to your abatement project stored electronically, offsite. 

MICHAEL V. SNYDER

Mike is responsible for sales and marketing efforts, new product development, operations, administration, and general business guidance.  He is also involved in the development and implementation of all policies and procedures necessary to maintain compliance with government regulations.

Mike’s specialized training includes the following:
  • Accredited Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor Course & annual refresher courses
  • Accredited Asbestos Inspector Course & annual refresher courses
  • Accredited Lead Contractor/Supervisor Course
  • Lead Awareness training
  • OSHA 10 hr compliance training
  • NIOSH 582 Training
  • Certified Mold Contractor/Investigator
In addition, Mike has served as an Abatement Supervisor/Manager. In fact, Mike has 21 years experience in the management and supervision of construction, renovation, and demolition projects, all involving environmental concerns ranging from asbestos and lead to chemical pollutants.  He has worked as a field operations manager, gaining direct experience in the management of construction projects as well as work crews.    
     
Mike also has previous job experience with environmental consulting firms. The most recent was as Operations Manager for N.W. Envirocon.  His responsibilities included preparing project designs, bid documents and proposals, technical reports, cost estimations, public relations, project coordination, and overall management of operations and administration.  He has managed all phases of environmental projects for various structure types, including homes, schools, public/commercial and industrial buildings, and manufacturing facilities.

For six years (1995 through 2001) Mike was President of a major environmental abatement company. His responsibilities included preparing bid documents, cost estimates, and job specifications. He was responsible for all phases of management of abatement projects for asbestos, lead and other environmental pollutants. As president/manager, he was responsible for assuring supervision of each job and for compliance with all government and contract requirements, while ultimately satisfying the client.

JEFF FAIRCHILD, JD

Jeff’s legal and compliance experience make him an integral part of the Snyder team. In his career as an attorney, he’s been responsible for all aspects of legal processes, including research of state and federal laws, state and federal licensing and compliance, and communicating with various regulatory agencies.

In addition to regulation and compliance, Jeff is responsible for many day-to-day functions and operations of Snyder.

Jeff holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. He has also completed an accredited Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor course.

BROCK JOHNSON, PE

Brock serves the business and administrative functions of Snyder, including supporting the various engineering, surveying, and construction services. 
  
As a Chief Engineer, Brock’s duties have included leading production and technical functions and overseeing business lines.  He has also been responsible for tracking the engineering industry as a whole.

Brock holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering and is a professionally registered engineer in Arkansas, Texas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Kentucky, Kansas, and Alabama. He has also completed an accredited Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor course.

DAN WILLIAMS, PE

Dan also brings his expertise as a professional engineer to Snyder. He is responsible for oversight of the business and administrative functions of the business in addition to lending his engineering expertise and strategies to projects.

Dan’s engineering experience includes tracking the engineering industry as a whole, building strategy for new service offerings to address industry trends, preserving and building technical expertise in all disciplines and serving as a resource for legal and contractual issues.

In addition, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and has completed graduate studies. Dan is a Professional Engineer in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Kansas.

JOE CARTER

Joe brings insurance expertise to Snyder and is primarily responsible for the operations of the business and maintaining proper insurance and licensure.

Joe’s experience primarily involves the administrative functions of Snyder and he brings his expertise in maintaining vendor relationships and providing marketing services.

Joe’s degree is a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication. He has also completed an accredited Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor course.

LYNN BEAN

Lynn is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the job site including operations, safety protocol, and abiding by any and all federal and local regulations that may pertain to each job. 

Environmental abatement activities are subject to an array of government regulations, and Lynn has an excellent history of working with personnel from these regulatory agencies. He assures that each job is conducted and completed in accordance with all relevant regulations.

Lynn’s specialized training courses include the following:
  • Accredited Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor course and annual refresher courses.
  • Certified Mold Remediation Contractor/Investigator.
Lynn has seven years of experience as both a laborer and foreman for construction, renovation, and demolition projects.  He also has 12 years of experience as a worker and supervisor for abatement projects, which involved environmental concerns ranging from asbestos to lead.  Lynn has also managed many environmental projects, including  homes, schools, public/commercial and industrial buildings and manufacturing facilities.

NATHAN SNYDER

Nathan is responsible for the day-to-day operations of asbestos abatement projects, including hazardous waste disposal and the transportation of equipment and materials.

Nathan’s specialized training includes the following:
  • Accredited Asbestos Supervisor/Contractor course
  • Accredited Asbestos Worker course and annual refresher courses
  • Lead Awareness training
  • Missouri Asbestos Supervisor/Contractor License
  • Certified Mold Contractor/Investigator
Nathan has 14 years of experience in construction involving environmental construction, demolition and renovation, ranging from large industrial jobs to schools and homes.

JUSTIN DIXON

Justin is responsible for project implementation and pricing, as well as preparing bid documents.  Justin is also involved in the day-to-day operations of the company including scheduling and project management.  He is responsible for advertising, prospecting, and managing project paperwork including filing NOI’s, bonding and insurance, and completing project completion documents.

The Environmental Construction field is one whose regulations and regulatory bodies constantly evolve.  Justin is responsible for keeping up with the changing regulations and updating the SEC’s policies to account for these changes.  He is also responsible for inspecting SEC job sites and ensuring projects are utilize state-of-the-art procedures that exceed all OSHA, EPA, NESHAP, DOT, and client expectations.

In the extremely competitive field of environmental construction, company/client relations are integral to company growth.  Justin understands this important principal and routinely consults with clients to verify their 100% satisfaction.

  • Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science
  • Accredited Asbestos Supervisor/Contractor course
  • Accredited Asbestos Inspector course
  • Accredited Mold Inspector course

Justin has over five years experience in the environmental construction field.  He has been involved in demolition and renovation projects ranging from large school and University projects to commercial projects and federal government projects for the US Army and Corp of Engineers.
